Antwerp's
Chief
Rabbi's
have
taken
the
side
of
the
insurgents
in
the
dispute
between
the
Kaszirer
Family
and
the
insurgents
over
the
ownership
of
the
Non-Profit
Association
of
Wizintz.
They
have
strongly
condemned the involvement of the
secular
courts.
In an attempt to refute this Rabbinic accusation we point to the many
Grand Rabbis who have settled similar disputes only through secular
courts.
The case in Wiznitz Bnei Brak (see below) shows some similarities
to
ours in Antwerp, but is even worse. Whereas in Antwerp a fraud was
committed by the insurgents at the Registrar
of the Associations, in the Wiznitz case in Bnei Brak, the institution
of Rabbi Israel Hager opposed the registration of Merkaz Chasidei
Wiznitz by his brother Rabbi Mendel Hager at the Registrar of
Associations.
